OUR BOARD MEMBERS
Our boards consist of 50 retired and active school superintendents, principals, teachers, nurses, FHF Club alumni, and other community leaders - all serving as volunteers / receiving no compensation.
Sandy
Adams
Founding President
Sandy serves as FHF Club, Inc. Founding President. Appointed by Gov. Nathan Deal & reappointed by Gov. Brian Kemp, she has also served on the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Services Board since 2012.
Sandy and her husband Jeff are honored to be caregivers of his sweet 95 years young mom Mary Jane Adams who lives with them.
Chrystal Thomas
Benefits Committee Chair
Chrystal serves as our Board Benefits Committee Chair determining the recipients for FHF Club Scholarships. Chrystal serves as Elbert County (EC) Schools FHF Club Supervising Sponsor and is assisted by ECMS & ECCHS FHF Club Sponsors Cherie Dove, Lynda Farmer, Anya Human, Brent Moon, and Robin Wood. Chrystal is a Special Education Teacher and Adaptive Physical Education Teacher at ECMS. She and her husband Timmy have two sons, Colby (& Bella) and Grady (& Linsey).

FHF Club Founding Student VP
Hannah (FHF Club Founding Student Vice President) serves as our Board Treasurer. She is employed at Elbert Memorial Hospital as a Surgery Services Registered Nurse. She and her husband Trey are proud parents to their sweet daughters Kenleigh and Micah.

Greg Hall is our Board Assistant Treasurer. He is employed at Southeastern Power Administration. Greg and his wife Kelly (retired EC Primary School Teacher) have two daughters Sarah Grace Hall and Maggie (& Logan) Stetson, and two grandchildren, Hallson and Cole.

Gary Purvis is our Board Chaplain and FHF Club JAM Fest Coordinator & MC. Gary is the founder of Shepherd's Care Ministries at Elberton First Baptist Church. Gary and his wife Margaret have three daughters Elizabeth (& Stephen) Hill, Courtney (& Jason) Hart, and their angel in heaven, Anna, and four grandchildren.

Leigh Starrett is our Board Secretary. She is also the Elbert County Clerk of Court. Leigh and her husband Kevin have two daughters Emily Starrett and Hannah (& Trey) McAvoy, and two grandaughters Kenleigh and Micah.
